64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
Amazon Machine Image (AMI)
An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Niyantrac v1.0 allows buyers to configure, monitor, version, and restore AWS CloudFront Distributions, Route53 Hosted Zones, and WAF Web ACLs. The application is deployed directly within your AWS account on an EC2 instance, ensuring your data and configurations never leave your own infrastructure. Follow the instructions below for complete installation and initial setup.
How to Install and Set Up Niyantrac Launch the AMI
- Deploy the provided AMI on an EC2 instance (t3.medium or higher recommended). Ensure the instance has outbound internet access and the appropriate security group rules to allow HTTP/HTTPS traffic from your network. Access the Application - Once the instance is running, open the application in your browser using the instance's Public IP or domain: http://<EC2-Public-IP>/. HTTPS can be enabled after uploading your SSL certificate in a later step.
Configure AWS Credentials
- Attach an IAM Role to your EC2 instance with the required permissions for CloudFront, Route53, and WAF. Once configured, Niyantrac will automatically discover and sync all existing resources from your AWS account no manual resource addition or configuration is required.
Configure SMTP Notifications
- Set up your SMTP details to enable real-time email notifications. Niyantrac sends alerts for critical events including configuration changes, scheduled task results, deletion events, backup status, and rollback operations, keeping your team informed at all times.
Upload SSL Certificate
- Upload your SSL certificate (.crt) and private key (.key) to enable HTTPS for secure, encrypted access to the Niyantrac application. This step is recommended before sharing access with your team.
Set Up Users & Permissions
- Create user accounts and assign policy-based access controls (PBAC) to manage team permissions across all modules. Niyantrac supports fine-grained, customizable policies so each user only has access to the features and resources relevant to their role.
Configure Application Data Backup
- Set up an S3 bucket to enable automated backups of all Niyantrac application data, including version history, schedules, user policies, and settings. Configure your preferred backup interval to ensure continuous data protection and recoverability.
Configure AI Management (Optional)
- Choose your preferred AI mode to enable AI-powered change analysis and recommendations. Select from No AI, Bring Your Own LLM (connect any self-hosted or OpenAI-compatible runtime such as Ollama, LM Studio, or LocalAI), or AWS Bedrock for fully managed, AWS-native AI capabilities.
