- Premium: 50 GB/day ingestion providing up to 5TB storage Suitable for businesses with moderate data volumes
- Performance: 500 GB/day ingestion providing up to 50TB storage, suitable for businesses with critical data processing needs or large data volumes

The three Cloud Events base packages set your daily log ingestion and storage: Essential handles up to 10 GB/day and 1TB, Premium up to 50 GB/day and 5TB, and Performance up to 500 GB/day and 50TB. Each base package includes 3-month retention. The two Retention Extension packages are add-ons, priced per year, that stretch retention to 6 or 12 months. Each extension covers 10 GB/day, so you buy multiple units to match your total ingestion. Base ingestion controls throughput; extensions control retention length. The two scale independently.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
The portal warns you as you near the limit. A default 48-hour grace period begins once ingestion passes 100% plus grace. If you stay over for 48 straight hours, logs above the threshold are not uploaded that day. Ingestion resumes the next day once you fall back within limits.
Ingestion capacity sets how many GB per day you can send to the cloud. It does not extend how long data is kept. A Retention Extension package lengthens storage from 3 months to 6 or 12 months. Each extension unit covers 10 GB/day, so you buy units matching your total ingestion.
No. Storage runs on a daily ingestion quota that resets automatically each day. You cannot manually delete old logs to reclaim capacity. To handle higher volumes, add ingestion capacity or reduce your logging throughput before reaching the capping threshold.
