SAP AWS Foundation

Companies running SAP are being pushed toward RISE with SAP (now SAP Cloud ERP Private) ahead of the end of mainstream ECC maintenance on 31 December 2027. They usually have a strong SAP implementation partner but lack an AWS partner of equal standing — so they leave AWS funding on the table and take on security risk when the SAP partner touches AWS infrastructure it does not specialize in. SAP AWS Foundation closes that gap. Darede acts as the dedicated AWS layer for SAP projects: it designs and operates secure, well-architected AWS environments, unlocks AWS funding programs, and lets the SAP partner stay focused on SAP — Darede never competes on SAP modules, Basis, or Z-code. The offering is delivered in packaged tracks. A Foundation for Sandbox track hosts the conversion environment used during a RISE migration for the transition period of roughly one year. A Foundation for Sidecars track provisions a dedicated AWS account for satellite microservices — the modern replacements for legacy Z customizations — that must survive the move to RISE, with ongoing management and support. A Complete Migration track has Darede lead the deal end to end and subcontract the SAP partner for ECC and S/4HANA migrations. Across all tracks Darede delivers landing-zone automation (Terraform / CloudFormation), SAP-specific security blueprints, migration cost calculators, AWS Direct Connect for migration, and integration patterns based on Kubernetes and serverless.
