The use of Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud services opens up a wide range of possibilities for greatly increased flexibility and speed for users, companies, developers and administrators. Regulated operating procedures, adherence to compliance rules, and the implementation and verification of comprehensive security requirements often take a back seat.

Cloud-native instead of cloud management software platforms

The use of native cloud services significantly reduces the overhead of an additional software platform and at the same time ensures that the latest innovations of the respective cloud platform are also available immediately. Users of the cloud environments provided can thus always access the latest services and features and benefit from the latest developments and ongoing price adjustments.

• (Almost) unlimited scalability: Server/instance types from 0.5 GB to 48 TB of storage for simple and particularly extensive provisioning (e.g. for S/4 HANA instances).
• Hybrid & Mutli-cloud: infrastructure services can also be provided in on-premise or BTC data centers. Flexible combination and coupling of the different cloud platforms is also possible (optional and on request).
• Flexibility: The infrastructure can flexibly adapt to current needs and grow with them. When needs are adapted, an adjustment of the infrastructure can be made - also (partially) automated - in an uncomplicated manner - without complex ordering and provisioning procedures.
• Cost-effectiveness: flexible and reserved: Through on-demand usage, only pay for resources when they are actually used. Reservations can also reduce provisioning costs by up to 70%.
• Integration capability: If desired, the systems provided can interact directly with other cloud services and generate new added value via data analytics, for example. Integration into the existing IT system and application landscape can also be ensured through direct connection to the client's sites (optional and on request).
• Support of the Intelligent CloudOps principle: Fundamentally improve the stability and speed of your IT through the continuous automation of provisioning, operating and service activities.
• SAP-certified servers for S/4 and HANA services: All (virtual) servers used have been certified and officially released by SAP. Both for S/4 systems and HANA databases.
• Tested and secure: BTC Group's managed services are subject to multiple tests and audits and - similar to the cloud platforms themselves - have been ISO27001, ISO27017, ISO9001 and Trusted Cloud certified. Proven secure cloud architectures (Well-Architected) and software-based security services ensure continuous testing and securing of the cloud environment and all provided components (optional and on demand).

Our Managed CloudPlatform for controlling and securing the cloud environments

All cloud resources are continuously and fully automatically monitored and proactively controlled within a secured cloud environment. Platform management is handled by BTC's Cloud Platform (MCP). This ensures comprehensive configuration management, automated implementation of patches and supports (agile) change management through CI/CD pipelines. The management environment is subject to ongoing updates and optimizations from which all customers benefit equally.

Automated compliance and security assurance

Company-wide and cloud-specific security and compliance guidelines are permanently ensured by MCP. Violations are prevented technically and not just recorded via guidelines. Violations of jointly agreed cloud policies are thus fundamentally impossible. Subsequently detected error states or other system changes can also be detected on an ongoing basis and responded to automatically. As far as possible (and sensible), a correction is made immediately and the administrator is informed immediately.
