EZIS for PostgreSQL is an enterprise database monitoring solution for on-premise and cloud platforms. It features world-first DMA technology with under-1s collection, vacuum prediction, replication gap tracking, and AI VectorDB monitoring

    Overview

    Product Overview

EZIS for PostgreSQL is an enterprise-exclusive database performance monitoring solution engineered for both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures. By integrating and analyzing all performance-impacting metrics in real-time, EZIS optimizes business services, prevents critical infrastructure issues, and delivers up to a 30% increase in operational productivity.

    Core Technologies

    • World's First PostgreSQL DMA Implementation: Offers alternative data collection via cutting-edge Direct Memory Access (DMA) or standard SQL methods, minimizing database overhead while securing granular metric tracking at under 1-second intervals.
    • Predictive Vacuum Optimization: Features proactive vacuum requirement forecasting, processing, and history management, simplifying real-time vacuum execution to maintain peak system stability.
    • Advanced AI VectorDB Monitoring: Fully supports specialized monitoring for vector databases, evaluating system operational states through similarity search tracking and quality metrics.
    • Real-time Replication Tracking: Monitors live database replication progress across nodes to verify normal operations and measure active transaction GAPs instantly.
    • Time-Series Internal Repository: Utilizes an embedded DBMS as an internal repository, storing performance and management data chronologically for versatile analytical use.
    • Integrated Performance Analysis: Tracks historical DBMS statuses down to second-level increments, leveraging big data and machine learning analysis to generate diverse visualization reports.

    Key Features & Interface Architecture

    • Intuitive System Dashboard: Enables administrators to effortlessly evaluate overall business system health and track critical performance indicators through a streamlined UI.
    • Granular Performance Mapping: Tracks execution plan histories over customizable intervals to identify specific sql_ids impacted by plan regressions. Slices a 24-hour day into 1-minute blocks for immediate profiling of elapsed times and dead tuples.
    • Session Wait Analysis: Identifies active Locks and Transactions from session wait data, with expandability features to drill down into specific timeline events.
    • Live Auto Vacuum Scheduling: Monitors real-time ratios of Dead Tuples, Auto Vacuum progress, and dynamic occurrence threshold limits.
    • Proactive Event Analysis: Triggers real-time alerts when critical metrics reach configured thresholds, offering immediate visibility into historical alarm trails, vacuum logs, and system error logs.

    Highlights

    • World's First DMA-Based Monitoring: Delivers high-precision PostgreSQL database monitoring at under 1-second intervals with near-zero system overhead, capturing critical metrics even during server hang situations.
    • Predictive Vacuum Management: Maximizes performance stability by forecasting dynamic Dead Tuples ratios and Auto Vacuum schedules, preventing unexpected degradation before peak traffic.
    • Next-Gen VectorDB & Replication Tracking: Supports specialized AI vector database metrics alongside real-time node streaming validation to eliminate transaction GAPs completely.

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Additional details

    Usage instructions

Welcome to EZIS for PostgreSQL. To configure and run the monitoring suite, follow these initial setup steps:

    1. Connect to the Instance via SSH: Log into the launched EC2 instance using your SSH private key (.pem) and the default OS user name: $ ssh -i "your-key.pem" ubuntu@[Your_Instance_Public_IP]

    2. Verify EZIS Services: Once connected, ensure the EZIS core agent and repository engine are up and running. (You can check the local service status or execution logs as per the inner administrator guide).

    3. Access the Web Dashboard: Open a web browser and navigate to the EZIS Web UI using the instance's public IP or public DNS with the designated port (e.g., http://[Your_Instance_Public_IP]:8060).

    4. Target Database Registration: Log into the web console with your initial administrative credentials. Navigate to the database configuration menu to register your target PostgreSQL using their connection endpoints. EZIS will immediately initiate collection.

Note: Ensure your EC2 Security Group allows inbound traffic for Port 22 (SSH) for administration and the specific web service port for dashboard access.
