Dimensions summary
This product bills you on usage across four separate charges. Two charges cover users by role: one hourly rate per admin user and one hourly rate per regular (non-admin) user. You pay for every user who can sign in, counted through the administration console. The other two charges cover object indexing: one rate per object for initial indexing of your buckets, and one rate per object for syncing index changes as buckets change. The charges add together, so your total scales with both user count and object volume.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A CloudSee User is anyone who can sign in to the system, managed through the administration console. You pay for every user that exists there, whether or not they actually log in. Remove users you no longer need. Changes apply in the next billing cycle.
Initial indexing charges once per object when you first index a bucket. Index syncing charges per object when buckets change afterward, such as added or modified objects. Initial indexing scales with your starting object count. Sync scales with how often your bucket contents change over time.
All four charges add together on the same invoice. User charges accrue hourly based on admin and regular user counts. Object charges depend on how many objects you index and how often buckets change. Large buckets raise indexing cost; many users raise hourly cost.
