This product has charges associated with it for technical support with a 24-hour response time. This AMI contains Neo4j Community and OpenJDK17(Java 17) on Debian12 repackaged by Easycloud.

    Overview

This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support with a 24-hour response time. Neo4j Community Edition 5.x, built on a minimal Debian 12 installation, is included in this AMI, repackaged by Easycloud. It provides a fully configured, high-performance graph database environment, deliberately engineered with a strict focus on security automation and out-of-the-box usability to eliminate manual setup and deliver production-ready Neo4j from the moment the instance launches.

    Core Features & Integrations

    • Debian 12 Minimal: A renowned Linux distribution celebrated for its exceptional stability, vast software repository, and strict adherence to open-source principles. Serving as the foundational upstream for Ubuntu and numerous other distributions, it provides unparalleled ecosystem compatibility while delivering a clean, bloat-free, and secure enterprise-grade core.

    • Optimized Java Runtime: Includes Java 17, strictly required for running Neo4j 5.x efficiently.

    • Optimized Memory Allocation: Key memory parameters, including heap size and page cache, are pre-configured to efficiently utilize the EC2 instance's RAM, preventing out-of-memory errors during complex Cypher queries.

    • Production-Ready Database Tuning: Built for enterprise workloads, the default parameters have been adjusted for optimal connection handling, transaction management, and robust high-concurrency performance.

    Key Benefits

    • The Ideal Native Graph Database and Relationship Intelligence Foundation: By starting with a bloat-free Debian 12, maximum CPU and memory are dedicated entirely to the Neo4j 5.x graph engine, its Cypher query planner, and optimized heap and page cache layers. This makes it the perfect, conflict-free foundation for graph-native workloads including knowledge graphs, recommendation engines, and fraud detection networks, with full support for polyglot application stacks powered by Python, Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, OpenJDK, and Eclipse Temurin (JDK). It pairs naturally with complementary data stores (Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse) for multi-model architectures, and integrates seamlessly into AI-driven graph workflows leveraging Apache Spark for large-scale graph analytics, MLflow for experiment tracking, and vector stores such as Milvus and Chroma for hybrid graph-vector retrieval patterns used in modern RAG and LLM pipelines with Ollama. Full-stack observability via Grafana, Prometheus, and Elasticsearch connects natively, while Apache Kafka powers real-time event streaming and graph data ingestion, and Go-based microservices integrate directly through the Neo4j Bolt protocol, ensuring your graph infrastructure delivers relationship intelligence at any scale.

    • Production Ready & Expert Support: Secured with the latest OS patches. It delivers a highly stable environment, fully supported by comprehensive documentation and fast technical assistance (guaranteed 24-hour response time) to ensure your infrastructure runs smoothly without costly downtime.

    Highlights

    • Neo4j: Best-practice deployment.
    • Debian 12 (Minimal Installation), updated to the latest version.
    • Expert Support: Backed by comprehensive documentation and fast, professional technical assistance.
