This listing uses a single pricing dimension. You buy a license priced per TiB (tebibyte) of storage capacity under a contract commitment. Your cost scales directly with the amount of capacity you license: more TiB means a higher total. There are no separate tiers or instance sizes to choose from. The software runs on standard x86 servers, so you license capacity independently of your hardware. Note that required AWS infrastructure, such as compute and block storage, is billed separately by AWS and is not part of this software license.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
You license storage capacity measured in tebibytes (TiB), a binary unit where one TiB equals 1,024 gibibytes. Your license quantity reflects the capacity you provision, not the raw physical drive size. You add capacity by licensing more TiB as your storage needs grow.
No. The per-TiB license covers only the software. Required AWS services, including compute (EC2) and block storage (EBS), are purchased directly from AWS and billed separately. You pay for those resources on top of your software license.
You can run it on standard x86 servers you already have. The software is hardware-independent and validated through a self-certification process. Because you license capacity per TiB rather than by hardware, your license stays separate from any server refresh cycle.
