How Fail2Ban Works?
Fail2Ban analyses log files in real time for patterns that indicate malicious behaviour, such as repeated authentication failures or abnormal request rates. When a violation is detected, Fail2Ban enforces temporary or permanent bans using native firewall mechanisms.
