Enso - Application Security Posture Management

    Overview

Enso is an Application security posture management (ASPM) platform. ASPM automates the identification of software assets as well as the orchestrating of all application security tools and processes. ASPM approach offers a systematic process to accomplish maturity in application security. It is used to gain visibility on application assets, regardless of their infrastructure. It simplifies complex workflows while collecting mission critical data, and governing a sustainable, unified software security process across the organization.

Enso platform includes an autonomous discovery engine that integrates with systems used by the organization from code to prod, and uses the data available in these systems' standard APIs, to create and maintain an up to date, unified, correlated and profiled inventory list of all assets. The types of assets managed by Enso include common application assets such as code repositories, artifacts and services and can be easily extended to manage even asset types that are unique to the user.

Enso eliminates AppSec silos by assembling data from key security tools and activities such as SAST, DAST, WAAP, SCA, penetration testing and threat modelling. Enso then prioritizes workflows with data-driven evidence to minimize backlogs and benchmark over time. The platform lets AppSec teams explore the inventory and easily spot interesting and important assets. It provides a single pane of glass to see all assets. Each asset is profiled based on the data that was collected by the Enso discovery engine, and is associated with its owners, its security related tasks, and automated security controls - all accessible in a single click.

Enso’s automation abilities allow its users to automate scheduling of activities (such as execution of scans and creation of tickets). The automation can be fine-tuned based on the profile of the asset, allowing tiering up the organization and investing resources where it actually matters.

Enso’s platform works in 3 steps:

    1. Discover - Autonomously discover and profile applications, identify owners and technology.
    2. Measure - Measure coverage and performance of application security controls.
    3. Manage - Automate workflows to enforce a unified, sustainable AppSec policy across all assets.

As opposed to other current solutions that require massive implementation, agent deployment or inline products, Enso is a seamless plug and play platform that provides immediate value with an effortless setup. Enso makes integration frictionless without agents.

    Highlights

    • Scope your full application inventory - By tapping into existing DevTech, application security and collaboration tools, Enso continuously identifies full application portfolios enriched with owner, tech and historical data. Automatically unify and socialize application risk data - Enso quickly scopes application security missions while identifying security gaps for developers.
    • Aggregate, measure and benchmark SDLC governance - Enso eliminates AppSec silos by assembling data from key security tools and activities such as SAST, DAST, WAAP, SCA, penetration testing and threat modelling. Enso then prioritizes workflows with data-driven evidence to minimize backlogs and benchmark over time.
    • Create security policies to facilitate AppSec lifecycles and preempt auditors - Leverage Enso to orchestrate the right security policy tailored for your business at developer speed. Scale a systematic, risk-based AppSec program - Build a measurable, replicable and sustainable application security program that finally harmonizes security with development.
