Vantage Compute uses capacity-based tiers priced by usage. Each tier sets limits on three resources together: users, clusters, and storage systems. The first tier covers up to 5 users, 2 clusters, and 2 storage systems. The middle tier covers up to 20 users, 10 clusters, and 10 storage systems. The largest tier covers up to 50 users, 20 clusters, and 20 storage systems. You pick the tier matching your team size and infrastructure needs. As your users, clusters, and storage grow, you move to a higher tier.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts toward the user, cluster, and storage system limits in each tier?
A user is one person accessing the platform. A cluster is one connected compute environment, cloud or on-premise. A storage system is one linked storage resource. Your tier caps all three counts at once. You cannot exceed any single limit without moving to a higher tier.
What happens when my team or infrastructure outgrows the limits in my current tier?
Each tier caps users, clusters, and storage systems together. If any one count reaches its limit, you move to a higher tier to add capacity. The move covers your whole environment, not just the added resources. Check all three limits when choosing, since reaching any single cap triggers the change.
Which resource limit determines the tier I need — users, clusters, or storage systems?
All three limits apply at the same time in each tier. Your required tier is set by whichever resource reaches its cap first. For example, a small team with many clusters may need a higher tier even with few users. Count all three before choosing.
