TYPO3 on AWS - Self hosting CMS with Websoft9 Console
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
If you are an AWS Free Tier customer with a free plan, you are eligible to subscribe to this offer. You can use free credits to cover the cost of eligible AWS infrastructure. See AWS Free Tier for more details. See Legacy AWS Free Tier for more details.
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance type you choose to run TYPO3 with the Websoft9 Console. Pricing is not tiered by feature. Instead, each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size and family, such as general purpose (t2, t3, m4, m5), compute optimized (c4, c5), memory optimized (r4, r5, x1e, z1d), storage (d2, i3, h1), and accelerated (p2, p3, f1, g3). Larger instances with more CPU, memory, or acceleration cost more per hour. You scale cost by selecting the size matching your workload.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit map to for each pricing dimension?
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that type, billed per hour. For example, an m5.xlarge charge covers one m5.xlarge virtual machine running TYPO3 with the Websoft9 Console. You pick the instance family and size to match your CPU, memory, or acceleration needs.
Am I charged when the EC2 instance is stopped or paused?
The hourly software charge applies only while the instance runs. A stopped instance stops accruing the per-hour software fee. Underlying AWS storage or other resources may still incur separate AWS charges, but the metered software time counts running hours only.
Can I change instance types later if my workload grows or shrinks?
Yes. Because billing follows the EC2 instance type you run, you can move to a different size or family later. You then pay the hourly rate for the new instance. This lets you scale cost up or down as your TYPO3 traffic changes.
