    Overview

Fine-Grained Authorization Professional Services for AWS

ZStrike offers professional services to help teams design, implement, and operate fine-grained authorization on AWS. Engagements are led by seasoned architects with experience delivering secure and reliable solutions for enterprise identity and access management programs.

    How Engagements Work

Every engagement begins with an authorization assessment that maps where access decisions live today - from hardcoded role checks to gateway rules - and delivers a clear roadmap for externalizing them. From there, we design your authorization model and Cedar schema, choosing the right mix of role-based (RBAC), attribute-based (ABAC), and relationship-based (ReBAC) access control. We then author the Cedar policies that turn your business and compliance rules into policy as code, backed by a test suite of allow and deny cases so every change can be verified before it ships.

Ready to get started? Request an authorization assessment to identify where externalized authorization can reduce risk and accelerate your team.

Authorization for AI Agents and Agentic Workflows

For teams building with AI, we design and implement authorization for AI agents and agentic workflows:

    • Tool-level policy authoring - Policies that govern which tools an agent may call and with which arguments over the Model Context Protocol (MCP), controlling what data AI applications can reach on behalf of each user
    • Amazon Bedrock AgentCore integration - We set up AgentCore Gateway and Policy, author the Cedar policies that control agent tool calls, review policies generated from natural language before they reach production, and configure identity and audit logging
    • Deterministic guardrails for AI - Every agent action is controlled by Cedar policy and fully traceable through audit logs

    Amazon Verified Permissions Expertise

We are Cedar specialists across the AWS Cloud. For Amazon Verified Permissions, we deliver:

    • Policy store and schema design - Designing policy stores, Cedar schemas, policies, and policy templates tailored to your application
    • Tenant isolation planning - Structuring authorization boundaries for multi-tenant architectures
    • Identity source integration - Connecting Amazon Cognito, OIDC providers, and other identity sources to your authorization layer
    • Application and API integration - Embedding authorization checks directly into your applications and APIs
    • Migration from legacy systems - Phased migration of permissions from application code or legacy policy systems with minimal disruption
    • Audit and compliance logging - Configuring audit logging to support access reviews and generate compliance evidence
    • Hands-on Cedar training - Enabling your engineers to author and maintain policies independently after the engagement

    What You Receive

Whether you run Amazon Verified Permissions, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, or the ZStrike platform, every engagement delivers:

    • A documented authorization model and Cedar schema
    • Production-ready Cedar policies with a comprehensive test suite of allow and deny cases
    • Audit logging configuration for compliance and access reviews
    • Knowledge transfer so your team can maintain and extend policies on their own

All deliverables are tested and validated on AWS before handoff.

    Highlights

    • Cedar policy experts: ZStrike specializes exclusively in Cedar-based fine-grained authorization. We design authorization models and Cedar schemas, author and test policies with automated test suites, and train your engineers to maintain them independently - turning business rules, compliance requirements, and RBAC, ABAC, or ReBAC patterns into externalized, verifiable policy-as-code.
    • Amazon Verified Permissions on AWS: We design and configure AVP policy stores, connect identity sources such as Amazon Cognito, integrate authorization calls into your applications and APIs, and migrate hardcoded permission logic out of application code into externalized, auditable Cedar policies that simplify compliance reviews.
    • AI agent authorization and guardrails: We design deterministic authorization for agentic workflows using Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Cedar. This includes MCP tool-call policies that control which actions AI agents can perform, ensuring your autonomous systems operate within defined security boundaries before they reach production.
