• Discover servers, applications, databases, and dependencies.
• Assess readiness and select migration strategies using the 7 Rs framework.
• Develop a business case, total cost of ownership analysis, and AWS consumption estimate.
• Review licensing and modernization opportunities.
• Define migration waves, risks, acceptance criteria, downtime windows, and recovery requirements.

• Implement Landing Zones and multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and AWS Control Tower where appropriate.
• Configure identity, access controls, security, and centralized logging.
• Design networking, DNS, and hybrid connectivity using AWS Site-to-Site VPN, AWS Direct Connect, and AWS Transit Gateway as appropriate.
• Establish backup, monitoring, cost allocation, and operational processes.
• Validate migration readiness through pilots and runbooks.

• Migrate supported Windows and Linux workloads from VMware, Hyper-V, physical servers, and other clouds to Amazon EC2.
• Configure replication and server conversion using AWS Transform MGN, formerly AWS Application Migration Service.
• Prepare target compute, storage, networking, and launch configurations.
• Execute test migrations, application validation, wave-based cutovers, and rollback planning.
• Perform post-migration checks and stabilization.

• Assess database compatibility and select targets such as Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora.
• Execute homogeneous and heterogeneous migrations using AWS Database Migration Service and native tools.
• Convert schemas and code using DMS Schema Conversion or AWS Schema Conversion Tool where supported.
• Configure full-load and change data capture workflows as appropriate.
• Validate data, test application compatibility, and tune database performance.
• Transfer file and object data using tools such as AWS DataSync.

• Replatform applications onto managed AWS services.
• Containerize workloads and migrate platforms to Amazon EKS or Amazon ECS.
• Implement selective refactoring and serverless adoption.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Build or migrate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS developer tools.
• Automate deployment, testing, rollback, configuration, and secrets management.
• Improve resilience, scalability, security, and observability.

For eligible AWS Migration Acceleration Program engagements:

• Support migration scope, business cases, estimates, and milestone documentation.
• Coordinate program requirements with customers and AWS teams.
• Identify in-scope accounts, workloads, and eligible resources.
• Implement and validate MAP tags, including map-migrated, according to applicable AWS guidance and agreement terms.
• Embed tagging into infrastructure code and provisioning workflows.
• Review tag coverage, monitor tagged consumption, and investigate reporting gaps.
• Configure separate partner attribution tagging for relevant supported resources where applicable and agreed with the customer.

MAP participation, funding, and credits are subject to AWS eligibility, approval, and program terms.

• Validate functionality, connectivity, performance, security, and recovery.
• Provide time-bound hypercare and resolve migration-related issues.
• Review utilization and cost optimization opportunities.
• Deliver architecture documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer.
• Complete customer acceptance and transition to the designated operations team.
• Plan source environment decommissioning following customer approval.

Deliverables may include an assessment, business case, target architecture, wave plan, infrastructure code, migrated workloads, validation results, tagging report, and handover package.

Pre-purchase discussions establish requirements and scope. Post-purchase support covers delivery coordination, troubleshooting, and agreed hypercare. Responsibilities, milestones, acceptance criteria, support hours, and communication channels are defined in the statement of work.

AWS infrastructure and service usage charges are separate from professional services fees and are the customer's responsibility.
