Overview
Submissions arrive as emails, PDFs and spreadsheets. Before quoting, the underwriter has to work out what has actually been sent and what is missing. Each submission is structured differently so this step takes time. SnapLine handles this step. The platform reads the submission and shows the relevant details together in one place. Each item links back to the original document so it can be checked. The underwriter can see what the risk is and what still needs to be requested. SnapLine does not make underwriting decisions. It prepares the submission so the underwriter can review it. Used for commercial and specialty risks where submission packs are large and inconsistent.
Highlights
- Shows the submission clearly - information from across the submission presented together with links to the source files
- Nothing is abstracted - everything shown can be traced back to the original document
- Fits the existing workflow - the submission is prepared before review. The underwriting process stays the same
