    The Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR) is a specialized methodology created by AWS. It's designed to assess the conformity of your architecture with the established best practices of AWS. Engaging with this framework enhances your understanding of the merits and demerits of the decisions made during the development of AWS systems. Utilizing this Framework cultivates a mastery of architectural best practices necessary for crafting and managing secure, robust, efficient, economical, and sustainable workloads in the AWS Cloud.

    WAFR is executed in two main phases, both administered by Dedicatted's AWS-Certified DevOps Engineers:

    Review Phase:

    • A kick-off meeting is organized to set expectations, establish a mutual understanding, and tailor our approaches based on your specific needs.
    • In collaboration with your technical team, a meticulous assessment call is conducted, exploring various facets as per the guidelines laid out in the Well-Architected Framework Tool.
    • A detailed Well-Architected Framework Review Report is curated and delivered, encapsulating our observations and a strategic improvement plan. This plan emphasizes high-priority risks, outlining urgent resolutions necessary for enhanced operational efficacy.

    Remediation Phase:

    • An extensive remediation process is undertaken to address and rectify the identified high-risk issues. This can be accomplished through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manual modifications, or by disseminating precise instructions for execution.
    • This phase, typically spanning 2-3 weeks, is dedicated to implementing corrective measures and refining strategies to bolster the architectural integrity and performance of your AWS infrastructure.
