Overview
Audax Data Manager gives database professionals a unified client for querying, administrating, and managing heterogeneous database environments without switching tools. It supports PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, SQLite, and Oracle, with consistent tooling across platforms and mDNS-based server discovery for fast, flexible connections.
The interface is built for speed and efficiency. Multiple workspaces let you manage databases side by side, while quick search and pinned databases reduce navigation overhead in large environments.
The data editor supports keyboard navigation and range selection for efficient data review, and the ERD tab includes pan, zoom, and layout save for practical schema visualization.
Schema editing includes foreign key support, DDL views include index details for MySQL and MariaDB, and a dedicated object deletion dialog replaces error-prone template workflows.
Audax Data Manager is is open-source with enterprise-grade features, including encrypted credential storage that requires a master password to access. A PostgreSQL server log viewer, customizable dashboard widgets, and a purpose-built administration toolset make it a practical choice for DBAs supporting complex, multi-database stacks in production.
Note: Audax Data Manager was previously known as PgManage, currently being rebranded to reflect its expanded multi-database capabilities.
