An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Version release notes
Try one unit of this product for 5 days. There will be no software charges for that unit, but AWS infrastructure charges still apply. Free Trials will automatically convert to a paid subscription upon expiration and you will be charged for additional usage above the free units provided.

Usage instructions
Connect to your instance using SSH. Use ubuntu as the username. For SSH connection help, refer to: Connect to your Linux instance using an SSH client - Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud Before starting, make sure your EC2 instances Security Group allows inbound traffic on port 4440 (for the Rundeck web UI), and that the instance meets the minimum specs: 2 vCPUs, 4GB RAM (t3.medium works well), and at least 20GB of gp3 disk space. Run the following commands: #sudo su #apt update #cd /opt/rundeck #sudo ./start.sh Wait for logs to setup then Open Rundeck in your browser: #http://public-ip:4440 Default Login: Username: admin Password: admin (you will be prompted to change the password after your first login).
