ECZ-ID Service & Workload Passport gives services and workloads a persistent, resolver-verifiable identity and authority record. Organisations can establish what a workload is, who operates or authorises it, its relevant bindings and current published state before reliance.
ECZ-ID Service & Workload Passport provides a service or workload with a persistent identity reference that can be independently resolved and re-checked. It helps organisations establish what the workload is, who operates or authorises it, the authority and relationships associated with it, relevant bindings, and its current published state before relying on it.
The Passport is designed for services and workloads operating across cloud, container, enterprise, platform, and machine environments. It provides a consistent identity and accountability layer that can support onboarding, verification, governance, audit, workload operations, and reciprocal trust workflows. Free ECZ-ID Passport - $0 software charge and not a free trial.

AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing has one pricing dimension: Free. You subscribe at no charge, with no software fee and no time limit. It is not a free trial. Subscribing creates the acquisition relationship on AWS Marketplace, then activation issues or reuses your Service & Workload Passport. The Passport covers one service or workload object, not each pod, replica, region or cluster. Pricing does not scale with usage under this dimension. Separate paid capabilities exist elsewhere, but they are not part of this listing and are not required to use the Passport.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What counts as one Service & Workload Passport for this free dimension?
One Passport covers one service or workload object. The same canonical identity holds across many pods, replicas, regions, clusters or runtime credentials. A new pod, instance, deployment or runtime credential does not create a new Passport. You use a separate Passport only when the workload object genuinely differs.
Does subscribing at no charge itself issue the Passport, or is another step needed?
Subscribing only creates the acquisition relationship on AWS Marketplace. It does not issue the Passport by itself. After subscribing, you set up your account, and activation then issues a new Passport or reuses your existing one. You then verify the result through the public Resolver record.
Are the paid capabilities mentioned on the website required to use this free Passport?
No. The Service & Workload Passport works as a free identity primitive on its own. Separate paid capabilities for scaling, assurance, federation or organisation-wide operation exist elsewhere, but none are prerequisites for basic Passport identity and public Resolver verification. They are not part of this listing.
