Overview
CygNet is launched on AWS services EC2, RDS for SQL Server and S3. The CygNet Advanced Configuration course introduces students to scripting in tags and HMI screens, device XML templates, ODBC, OPC, and importing/exporting data.
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to create scripted tags, and add scripted functionality to HMI screens. Students will also understand how XML is used with the CygNet device drivers as well as the use of the CygNet ODBC driver and OPC.
Prerequisites: CygNet Configuration course or equivalent experience, familiarity with VB Script or other scripting/programming language preferred.
