Dimensions summary
You pay by the hour for the EC2 instance size you run WebERP on. All 21 dimensions bill on the same hourly usage model, with no upfront commitment. The only difference between them is the underlying compute type. Options range from small burstable instances like t3.nano and t2.micro to general-purpose sizes such as m5.large and m4.large, compute-optimized c-series like c5.large, and memory-optimized r-series like r5.large. You select the instance that matches your workload, and your cost scales with the size you choose and the hours you run.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
Each dimension maps to one running EC2 instance of that type, with WebERP pre-installed on Ubuntu 24.04. The instance type sets the CPU and memory you get. Burstable t-series sizes suit light or variable use. Compute-optimized c-series and memory-optimized r-series suit heavier or memory-intensive workloads. You run one instance per charge.
The hourly software fee meters running time only. A stopped instance does not accrue software charges. You still pay any underlying AWS storage fees, such as attached volumes, while the instance is stopped. Charges resume when you start the instance again.
You are not locked into one instance type. Since billing is hourly with no upfront commitment, you can stop your current instance and launch a different dimension that fits your workload. Your cost then follows the new instance type and the hours you run it. Vendor support is available for guidance.
