Usage Instructions
Launch the EC2 instance from AWS Marketplace and ensure that the Security Group allows inbound SSH access on port 22.
Connect to the Linux instance using the username "ubuntu":
ssh -i <your-key.pem> ubuntu@<public-ip-address>
After logging in, update the system packages and verify the Postfix installation:
sudo apt update postfix --version
To check the Postfix service status:
sudo systemctl status postfix
To start and enable the Postfix service if required:
sudo systemctl start postfix sudo systemctl enable postfix
The main Postfix configuration file is located at:
/etc/postfix/main.cf
Ensure that the required mail ports (such as 25, 465, or 587) are allowed in your AWS Security Group and firewall configuration if external mail delivery is required.
