AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour for the AWS EC2 instance type you choose to run this software. Each listed dimension maps to a specific EC2 instance size, so pricing scales with the compute capacity you select. Smaller instances cost less per hour, while larger multi-core, high-memory, GPU, and bare-metal types carry higher hourly rates. The software itself is an open-source image, so your hourly charge reflects the instance you pick. You are billed only for the hours each instance runs, with no upfront commitment or fixed term.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one hourly unit cover, and what am I actually paying for?
Each hourly unit covers one running EC2 instance of the type you select. The software itself is an open-source image, so the hourly charge reflects the instance size you launch. You pick a size from the list, and billing counts each hour that instance runs.
Am I charged if I stop or pause the instance running this software?
Software charges apply only while the instance runs. When you stop or power off the instance, the hourly software charge stops. Underlying AWS storage fees for the attached disk may still apply, but the software meter counts running hours only.
What happens to my cost if I move to a larger instance type?
Your hourly rate changes to match the new instance type. Each listed dimension maps to a specific EC2 size, so switching to a larger multi-core, high-memory, GPU, or bare-metal type raises the hourly charge. Smaller types lower it. The change takes effect when you launch the new size.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
