AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
Pricing is based on actual usage, with charges varying according to how much you consume. Subscriptions have no end date and may be canceled any time. Alternatively, you can pay upfront for a contract, which typically covers your anticipated usage for the contract duration. Any usage beyond contract will incur additional usage-based costs.
Additional AWS infrastructure costs may apply. Use the AWS Pricing Calculator to estimate your infrastructure costs.
You pay by the hour, and the rate depends on the EC2 instance type you run. Each dimension maps to a specific AWS instance size, so pricing scales with the compute, memory, and storage capacity you choose. Smaller instances like t2.medium or m3.medium suit lighter replication jobs. Larger instances like x1.32xlarge, m4.16xlarge, or i2.8xlarge give more capacity for heavier data volumes. Memory-optimized (r3), storage-optimized (d2, i2, hs1), compute-optimized (c3, c4), and GPU (g2, cg1) families are all available. You select one instance type and pay only for the hours it runs.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does one billing unit cover for these hourly rates?
You pay per hour for one running EC2 instance of the type you select. Each dimension maps to a specific instance size with fixed compute, memory, and storage. The rate covers the software running on that single instance. Running two instances bills two hourly rates.
Am I charged when the instance is stopped or powered off?
The hourly software charge meters running time only, so a fully stopped instance stops accruing software charges. Underlying AWS storage and other resources tied to a stopped instance may still incur AWS fees. To stop software charges, stop or terminate the instance.
How does my choice of instance type affect what workloads I can run?
Larger and specialized instance types handle heavier replication volumes and change data capture jobs. Memory-optimized and storage-optimized families suit large datasets, while smaller instances suit lighter jobs. Cost scales with the capacity of the instance you select, since each type carries its own hourly rate.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
Access the application by clicking on the shortcut named "DBSync Launch" on your desktop. To connect to the operating system use RDP and user name Administrator.
