GenAI Language Translator

Customer problem:

Businesses increasingly need fast, accurate translations across multiple languages (E-commerce Platforms, Software Companies, Media and Entertainment, Education Institutions, ...). Many solutions compromise on quality or become prohibitively expensive at scale, creating significant barriers when selecting the right tool. Organizations struggle to balance cost-effectiveness with the demand for high-quality, automated translation services.

Proposed solution: Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Translate, both on AWS, are top solutions for translation. AWS delivers a fully managed, cost-effective platform with cutting-edge tools when dealing with LLMs and Generative AI. We leverage Amazon Translate for millisecond-speed, high-quality translations and leverage RAG with Bedrock for tailored, GenAI-powered customization—delivering precise solutions for each customer need or industry.

To evaluate and validate translations: we use BLEU metrics to measure accuracy and compare the outputs against reference translations. Additionally, we will monitor translation speed to ensure low-latency, real-time performance across different industries with observability tools such as Langfuse.

Implementation plan:

- Assessment: A customized evaluation of business data and processes will be performed to determine the necessary pre-processing steps, ensuring the quality of the translations.

- Tool development: Tailor a solution that provides two APIs: one for automatic translations, and another for the translation suggestions based on the customer's ingested data.

- Operational & Continuity: Provide continuous support to ensure efficient operation, including ongoing evaluation and monitoring of the solution in terms of cost, speed, and translation quality.
