The product is designed to help customers determine if there is a viable business case for VMware to AWS EC2 migrations and to provide a roadmap for understanding the current and future landscape and migration pathway. The product is designed to be a low-touch, rapid assessment of the environment using VMware-standard data and agentic AI powering the analysis.
Overview
The Business Assess product is designed to rapidly form a business case for helping customers determine whether there is an opportunity to unlock business value with the migration to AWS. The first capability in the Business Assessment is focused around VMware de-risking and takeout by migrating workloads to AWS. AWS Transform Assessment underpins the product and uses RVTools outputs from a customer environment to simplify data collection. The business case will produce the following assessment deliverables:
- A TCO analysis for migrating workloads to AWS
- In-depth architectural analysis of the existing estate built by AI using the RVTools input file to outline the network architecture, infrastructure environment, and security design
- Projected migration project plan based on agentic tool utilization and Accenture migration expertise
- Recommendation on next steps for a successful migration program
