Overview
OBS is a cross-platform streaming and recording program software designed to efficiently capture, compose, encode, record and stream video content
Transmission of data is primarily done via the Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) and can be sent to any RTMP supporting destination, including many presets for streaming websites such as YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, and Facebook.
For video encoding, OBS Studio is capable of using the x264 software library, Intel Quick Sync Video, Nvidia NVENC, and the AMD Video Coding Engine to encode video streams into the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC format and the H.265/HEVC format.
OBS Image from Tidal Media Inc. follows industry standards, continuously monitors for updating and securing and is built to work right out of the box. Subscribe and get a powerful and scalable Streaming Server!

Using OBS for live-streaming to YouTube
I like that OBS allows you to get the content you want to livestream to your preferred platforms in an easy and orderly fashion. I used OBS in conjunction with Logic Pro X, and it managed to stream the content clearly to the YouTube live with no issues.
