    Overview

    A Pilot Light DR strategy minimizes your ongoing costs with a smaller infrastructure footprint and provides improved RPO and RTO compared to traditional backups, which can leave your applications unavailable for days. Our solution allows organizations to leverage a secondary geographical region or even a different cloud. For some, this could be a great introduction to operating in multicloud configuration with low operational overhead of the Pilot Light workload.

    The Pilot Light Disaster Recovery Accelerator is an end-to-end automated DR solution for customers using VMs on-premises, in private cloud or in any public cloud (AWS, Microsoft™ Azure™, Google Cloud, etc.). This solution is underpinned by the AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery (AWS DRS), formerly called Cloud Endure. AWS DRS minimizes downtime and data loss with fast, reliable recovery of on-premises and cloud-based application or web tier VM’s using affordable storage, minimal compute and point-in-time recovery of AWS.
