P3 Migrate - A Cloud Assessment and Migration Framework

P3 Migrate is a standardized framework for assessing cloud readiness, cloud maturity, and cloud best practices at the application, portfolio, or enterprise level. P3 Migrate gathers requirements from key stakeholders to identify and document goals, desired outcomes, and major pain points. P3 Migrate organizes these inputs into value streams based on multiple perspectives to build a comprehensive understanding of financial and technical requirements, locations and types of users, organizational, technical, or security constraints, the current state of the systems/applications in scope, and the current state of security and operations. P3 Migrate’s multi-faceted assessment is based on 60+ data points, that examines architecture, data types and locations, performance characteristics, resiliency, interdependencies, software components, current support team(s), Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Authority to Operate (ATO) status, and other data points. P3 Migrate produces a report providing necessary evidence for customers to make an informed and data driven decision on a Cloud Adoption Strategy including whether to rehost, replatform, refactor, rebuild, or replace. When used across multiple systems and applications, or used at the enterprise level, P3 Migrate is a force multiplier, discovering commonalities and challenges that can be solved once with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and brought to bear for multiple application modernization efforts to reduce assessment time, effort, and cyber risk through inherited common controls. P3 Migrate can be tailored for a single application or scaled to the enterprise cloud architecture, providing best practices for optimized and managed cloud adoption.
