Designed as a drop-in replacement, it requires zero code changes while providing advanced capabilities such as cost control (wallet & budget limits), real-time usage analytics, rate limiting, and role-based access control (RBAC). With high-performance architecture (5,000+ RPS, <10ms overhead) and full observability (usage logs, audit logs, analytics dashboards), ChatX Router empowers enterprises to optimize AI usage with transparency, governance, and scalability. Built for modern cloud environments, ChatX Router integrates deeply with AWS services, particularly Amazon Bedrock for foundation model access, and can be deployed as a SaaS product on AWS Marketplace. It leverages AWS infrastructure components such as AWS Lambda (Sweeper Service), Amazon ElastiCache (Redis) for high-speed processing, and Amazon RDS/PostgreSQL for analytics and billing data. This makes it suitable for AWS Marketplace product types such as SaaS solutions and AI agent/API-based products, which are supported delivery models within AWS Marketplace for third-party software and AI services. In addition to simplifying AI integration, ChatX Router provides enterprise-level governance with multi-tenant architecture (Organization → Project → Client), API key management, budget enforcement, and cross-provider routing with load balancing and failover.
