Postfix Mail Server for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
Product Overview
Postfix is a free and open-source mail transfer agent (MTA) that routes and delivers electronic mail. As an SMTP server, Postfix implements a first layer of defense against spam bots and malware. It replaces the typical uses of sendmail. In a public cloud environment, the usual requirement is to have a MTA for the applications to send out emails using the corporate email infrastructure. A Postfix server can be configured to do that. This AMI has the latest, stable build of Postfix Mail Server installed on the target operating system with latest patches applied.
Kurian has released pre-configured software applications such as Wordpress, Jenkins, databases, LAMP stack, Ansible, DevOps tools, and monitoring applications that are widely used by system administrators and DevOps engineers. For selected Linux distributions hardened images based on CIS benchmark are also available. The Kurian AMIs are built following official installation steps so you do not need to learn any custom procedures if additional configurations need to be done.
