Overview
Make your existing website work in mainland China — without rebuilding it.
Most overseas websites load 10–30× slower from mainland China, and many fail to render entirely. The cause is rarely the origin server. It is the network path, third-party scripts (Google Fonts, YouTube, Google Analytics, Maps, HubSpot, Calendly, reCAPTCHA), and the absence of a local hosting layer.
ChinaSiteReady solves this with a single, productized engagement. Provide your URL. We test how the site behaves from inside China, mirror selected informational pages, replace or self-host the third-party resources that block rendering, deploy on an AWS-based architecture, set up CDN acceleration, and provide ongoing operations.
You keep your global website unchanged. We add a clean, fast, China-accessible layer next to it — and we operate that layer.
What you get
- A China-accessible mirror of selected pages from your existing website (up to 25 pages by default)
- Hosting on AWS-based architecture, designed for mainland China access
- CDN acceleration optimized for Chinese network conditions
- Third-party resource compatibility handling (replace, fall back, or self-host fonts, video, analytics, maps, forms)
- HTTPS, security baseline, and access logging configured
- ICP-compliant deployment path consultation, document checklist, and technical coordination
- Before-and-after performance reports verified from multiple Chinese regions
- Ongoing monitoring, alerting, SSL renewal, monthly performance reports, small content syncs, and email-based technical support
Standard delivery timeline
Two to four weeks from project kickoff to a verified, China-accessible mirror site, assuming timely cooperation on customer-side materials and verifications. ICP filing review timelines are determined by the relevant authority and hosting provider and are not solely controlled by us.
Three ICP deployment paths
Customers can choose the path that matches their entity and domain situation:
- Path A — Customer domain + customer China entity. Customer files ICP under their own entity. Most stable long-term option. Customer entity owns content responsibility; we provide infrastructure and operations.
- Path B — Customer domain, no China entity. We act as the China website operation entity and file under our China company. Customer cooperates with brand authorization, content confirmation, domain real-name verification, and required validations. Ongoing content safety review and takedown handling are managed by us as the operating entity. Subject to content acceptability and absence of special-industry licensing requirements.
- Path C — No customer domain, no customer entity. We allocate a subdomain on a domain we own and control, and host the site under our China entity. We own content safety end-to-end.
Best fit
- B2B companies with a mature English or multilingual global website
- Teams receiving inquiries from Chinese customers, distributors, or partners
- Companies exhibiting at China trade shows or running pilot market efforts
- Organizations on AWS or those that prefer to procure professional services through AWS Marketplace
- Teams that want to avoid setting up a China engineering team or rebuilding their CMS
Not a fit
- Full SaaS application localization (login, accounts, billing, payment, membership)
- User-generated content platforms, forums, or communities
- Public-facing generative-AI services hosted in China
- Regulated services such as telemedicine, online education, news, mapping, or livestreaming
- Engagements where the customer wants to use our ICP filing without our actually operating the site
Highlights
- Productized, fixed scope, fixed price. No discovery-as-billing. Live in 2–4 weeks. Verified before-and-after performance from inside China. No rebuild. Customer global website and CMS remain untouched. Operated, not just built. Monitoring, alerting, monthly reports, and small fixes are part of the recurring fee.
- AWS-native delivery. Architecture designed and operated on AWS infrastructure. Three ICP paths. Pre-defined responsibility split for every entity / domain combination.
