This release contains information on M2, which consists of M1, savings deposits, small-denomination time deposits, and balances in retail money market mutual funds. Since this is seasonally adjusted, M2 is computed by summing the latter three factors up, which are seasonally adjusted individually, which will then be added to a seasonally adjusted M1. M2 is held mainly by households.

This listing uses a single free pricing dimension called Product Access (Units). It grants subscribers access to the M2 Money Stock dataset. There are no tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to choose from. You subscribe once and gain access to the data. The vendor publishes free, publicly available datasets on AWS Data Exchange so subscribers can consume them in a consistent format. Because the product is free, there is nothing that scales by quantity or usage.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the Product Access (Units) dimension actually grant me?
It grants you subscriber access to the M2 Money Stock dataset at no charge. There are no seats, hosts, or instances to count. Once you subscribe, you can consume the data through AWS Data Exchange in a consistent format. Access is the only thing the dimension provides.
Will my cost change as I consume more of the data over time?
No. The product is free, so nothing scales by quantity or usage. You are not billed for the volume of data you pull or how often you query it. There are no tiers or overage thresholds that could trigger a cost change.
Are there separate charges for how I retrieve or process the dataset?
The dataset access itself carries no charge. Note that standard AWS service fees for storing or processing the data in your own environment are governed by AWS, not by this listing. The publisher delivers the data through AWS Data Exchange in a consistent format.
