GLOBAL COVERAGE AVAILABLE - SAMPLE DATA PRODUCT
Detect early warning signs that can prevent damage to valuable infrastructure, protect the environment, and save lives by subscribing to our 24/7 displacement monitoring web service.
The data are land displacement measurements at a variety of point locations in a Kings County, California. The provided data are in a CSV table.
To obtain historical ground displacement data over your area of interest, contact us and we will be glad to show you how we can generate ground displacement data that can be published and consumed via ADX over any land area globally. We use satellite data sources that systematically collect imagery all over the world, and can provide updates at varying frequencies.
CSV Structure
The data are distributed as a CSV file consisting of rows of:
a point location (in GeoWKT format)
a date (in YYYY-MM-DD format)
a velocity of movement (in mm/year)
a movement measurement (in mm)
The measurement indicates how much the ground has moved up (positive number) or down (negative number) over the previous 12 days.
Technical Description
Using repeat pass Interferometric Synthetic-Aperture Radar (InSAR) satellite imagery (Sentinel-1), we provide scientifically validated measurements to indicate displacement, down to the millimeter scale. The data package we deliver includes displacement and velocity. Additional temporal or spatial frequency can be added using higher resolutions SAR satellites. This data allows you to monitor displacement and easily make use of this information within your organization for land monitoring, or other applications.
AWS Marketplace now accepts line of credit payments through the PNC Vendor Finance program. This program is available to select AWS customers in the US, excluding NV, NC, ND, TN, & VT.
This listing has one pricing dimension: Product Access (Units). It is free, so you pay nothing to subscribe. There are no tiers, instance sizes, or usage add-ons to choose from. Access is granted at the unit level for subscribers. This sample provides ground displacement data for Kings County, California, derived from satellite radar (InSAR) measurements. Because there is a single dimension with no cost, pricing does not scale with usage, area, or time. You gain access to the sample dataset under the same free terms.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the single Product Access (Units) dimension actually grant me?
It grants subscriber access to the sample dataset. This sample covers ground displacement measurements for Kings County, California, derived from satellite radar (InSAR). You gain access to view and work with this specific sample data. There are no separate charges for area, time, or data volume.
Does my cost change if I access more data or use the product longer?
No. This is a single free dimension with no usage variability. Cost does not scale with the amount of data you view, the area you analyze, or how long you keep access. There are no tiers, included amounts, or overage thresholds that could trigger a charge.
What kind of measurements does this sample dataset contain?
The sample provides millimeter-level ground displacement measurements derived from satellite radar (InSAR). These readings capture uplift and subsidence — ground rising or sinking — across the Kings County, California area. The data is intended to help you evaluate displacement patterns before committing to a paid product.

We perform time-series analysis of interferometric synthetic aperture radar data with high precision to detect changes in the global environment such as ground subsidence, land use change, and disasters.
Wildfire Risk Extreme is designed as a companion product to Preciselys Wildfire Risk USA. The potential for wildfire exposure is a growing hazard as temperatures rise, wildland fuels accumulate, and people continue to build structures in areas of elevated wildfire risk. Wildfire Risk Extreme provides an up-to-date, scientific model that accurately captures wildfire risk under severe conditions, for every location in the United States. This sample data set is limited to the Marin County, CA area.
