Overview
WordPress is the most widely used open-source content management and blogging platform. It requires a web server, a database, PHP, and related PHP modules to run web applications.
This AMI provides a preconfigured WordPress environment built on a standard LAMP stack with Apache, MariaDB, and PHP installed and configured following official installation procedures. The underlying Linux operating system is updated with the latest security patches, and the database installation is secured using standard configuration practices.
An EC2 instance launched from this AMI allows you to start using WordPress immediately with minimal or no additional configuration, enabling rapid deployment of websites, blogs, and content-driven applications.
Kurian provides this product across major Linux platforms including Ubuntu, Debian, Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, Amazon Linux, Fedora Linux, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
