Production ready WooCommerce on hardened base OS: Cart aware caching, brute force protection and one command HTTPS. Launch a fast, secure online store on AWS in minutes.
This product has charges associated with it for seller support. Launch a production ready WooCommerce store on AWS in minutes, on a stack actually tuned for commerce rather than a blog with a shop bolted on. Built for merchants, agencies and developers who know that store performance is revenue: every second of checkout latency costs conversions, and generic one click images leave that money on the table. This image ships WordPress and WooCommerce current stable on a hardened stack.

You pay by the hour for the Amazon EC2 instance you run this pre-configured WooCommerce store image on. The software price is the same across instances; your hourly rate changes with the instance you pick. Options span burstable t2 and t3 sizes for light traffic up to large m4, m5, m6, and m7 families, including memory, network-optimized, disk-backed, and bare-metal variants. Sizes scale from nano and micro up to metal and 48xlarge. Choose a size to match your traffic and performance needs; billing rises with instance capacity.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
What does the hourly charge cover, and what runs on the instance?
You pay per hour for the EC2 instance running the pre-built WooCommerce image. The image bundles the WooCommerce plugin, Storefront theme, WP-CLI, Apache, PHP, MariaDB, phpMyAdmin, HTTPS, and SFTP on a hardened Ubuntu base. WordPress installs automatically at first boot, so no web installer setup is needed.
Am I charged when I stop or pause the instance?
The software meters running instance-hours. A fully stopped instance stops accruing the hourly software charge. Stopped instances may still incur separate AWS storage fees for attached volumes, billed by AWS. Your bill rises with the hours the chosen instance runs, matching your traffic patterns.
Why do the hourly rates differ across the many instance types listed?
The software fee stays the same across every instance type. The differing rate reflects the underlying EC2 instance capacity you select. Burstable t2 and t3 sizes suit light traffic. Larger m4, m5, m6, and m7 families, including memory, network, disk, and bare-metal variants, handle heavier loads.

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.
