This listing uses a single pricing dimension: a Rescale Commitment measured in Units. You prepay a deposit that covers your projected use of the platform and cloud infrastructure. The deposit draws down as you run workloads, so your spending scales with actual usage rather than a fixed per-seat charge. Units apply across compute, workstations, storage, and software you consume on the platform. Pricing is custom, so you contact the vendor for a quote based on your projected usage. There are no separate tiers or add-on dimensions to configure in Marketplace.
Top-of-mind questions for buyers
A Unit is a prepaid deposit balance, not a fixed resource. Units draw down as you consume compute, cloud workstations, high-performance storage, and software from the application catalog. Different resources and priority levels consume Units at different rates, so what you spend reflects the specific hardware, region, and service you use.
Running and suspended workstations continue drawing down your Unit deposit based on active time. Administrators can monitor how long workstations stay running or suspended and can shut them down, delete them, or set auto-terminate policies for long-suspended workstations to limit spend.
Yes. You can commit to a fixed hourly spend level that applies savings automatically across eligible coretypes and regions. Once configured, discounted rates apply to eligible On-Demand Priority workloads with no change to how your team submits jobs. Policy-based controls can also tune cost and performance automatically.
