An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

Usage instructions
Note: "array" is the default account, not "root". Once the instance is running, ssh to the instance using the key pair file. At the command prompt, type the following commands to enable remote WebUI access with password -
- Type 'enable', and then [Enter].
- Type 'config terminal', and then [Enter]
- Type 'admin password "array" "your_array_passwd"' to assign password for "array" account, and type 'ssh auth password on array' to enable password authorization for "array" account.
- Type "write mem" to save config and then quit the ssh connection.
- Connect to the Elastic IP address (EIP) using a web browser on port 8888 (https://<eip>:8888/). Enter "array" and "your_array_passwd" for the default account and password.
