Overview
Ready to experience the Database for Time & Space?
Data from sensors and machines is inherently geospatial and time series in nature. Equip your business to harness this data and create value with this set of capabilities from Kinetica:
- Real-time analytics database: Kinetica extends the value of streaming tools like Kafka by enabling data fusion across other streams and historical data using ANSI SQL.
- Best-in-class location intelligence: capabilities include spatial functions, time series, and graph, to maximize the value of data across time and space.
- Cutting-edge architecture: Vectorized processing results in greater performance on fewer nodes, and significantly less data engineering costs by avoiding time consuming indexing and materialized views creation.
Originally developed for the U.S. intelligence community, Kinetica's advanced capabilities across time and space have supported the most complex IoT use cases in the world, including for the Defense Department, two of the top three telcos, a top three retailer, and more. Now, these capabilities are available in the AWS Marketplace.
Instead of performing multiple tasks in parallel, like in threading parallelism, vectorized processing operates in parallel at the data level, performing the same operation on different sets of data at once. By combining threading and vectorized parallelism, Kinetica achieves exponentially faster processing. The result is better performance on lighter infrastructure with the capacity to analyze spatial relationships over time and execute analysis and decisioning in real time. Kinetica takes advantage of the latest vectorized hardware across CPUs and GPUs.
Who uses Kinetica? Kinetica is trusted across government, defense, telecommunications, financial services, logistics, and more. Kinetica helps to identify national security threats in real time, model complex disaster risks, proactively predict cyber threats, accelerate the rollout of 5G, enable dynamic supply chains, and beyond.

Kinetica on EKS with New VPC
- Amazon EKS
Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
