Overview
Most teams add AI coding assistants to unchanged processes and see limited impact. The AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC), defined by AWS, rethinks the whole lifecycle: AI plans, asks clarifying questions and produces; humans validate, arbitrate and keep control of every decision. In this 2-day workshop, inspired by the AWS AI-DLC Unicorn Gyms, a team of 6 to 8 people (developers and business stakeholders) works on one of your real use cases, guided by Atyos engineers. Day 1 - Inception: AI turns business intent into requirements, user stories and units of work. In Mob Elaboration sessions, business and engineering validate the AI's questions and proposals together, on the same screen. Day 2 - Construction: AI proposes architecture, domain model, code, tests and infrastructure as code. In Mob Construction sessions, the team arbitrates technical and architectural choices in real time. The day ends with a first increment deployed on AWS and a team debrief. Tooling: Kiro, Amazon Q Developer and project rules and context aligned with your coding, security and architecture standards. Outcomes: validated requirements and backlog, a first working increment on AWS, a team that has experienced the method, and a recommended adoption path (or an Atyos Forward Deployed Engineering Sprint to take the use case to production). Related AWS services: Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, Amazon Bedrock. Delivered on site (France, Switzerland) or remotely, in French or English, by Atyos, AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner.
Highlights
- Learn by doing: apply AWS AI-DLC to one of your real use cases, from business intent to a first increment deployed on AWS, in two days.
- Business and engineering together: Mob Elaboration and Mob Construction sessions align stakeholders in hours instead of weeks of meetings.
- Clear next steps: validated backlog, working code and an adoption plan, with an optional path to production through an Atyos Forward Deployed Engineering Sprint.
