    Overview

CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security provides threat detection and response, container vulnerability management, and pre-deployment checks for Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA). Powered by CrowdStrike's leading threat intelligence and AI-native platform, the Falcon sensor stops known, zero-day, and malware-free attacks on OpenShift workloads and the CoreOS operating system.

Deployed as a Red Hat certified OpenShift operator, the Falcon sensor immediately protects workloads deployed on ROSA from the most advanced adversaries. In addition, application security posture management maps microservice-level security risks; pre-runtime scanning of container images and infrastructure-as-code identifies misconfigurations early; and agentless posture management monitors AWS account usage for indicators of cloud-conscious threat actors.

    Highlights

    • Detect and prevent breaches in applications deployed to ROSA whether they are commercial-off-the-shelf or home-grown by your developers--using over a decade of adversary research and machine learning expertise.
    • Stop misconfigurations from ever being deployed with container image scanning, infrastructure-as-code scanning, and a Kubernetes admission controller.
    • Gain visibility and insights at the microservice-level so developers can minimize risk, and extend protection to the entire AWS estate by monitoring for cloud-conscious adversary activity.

Strong Cloud Protection and Alerts, but a Learning Curve and Alert Noise

    Reviewed on Aug 06, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like that CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is easy to use and helps keep our cloud environment safe. It can find security issues quickly and gives useful alerts. The dashboard is simple, so it is easy to check and manage security.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the dashboard can be a little confusing, and some features take time to learn. The price is also high, especially for small companies. Sometimes the alerts are too many and need more filtering.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us find security problems in our cloud environment before they become bigger issues. It saves time by giving alerts and helps us keep our systems more secure. This makes our daily security work easier.

Easy to Use with Strong Real-Time Cloud Threat Visibility

    Reviewed on Aug 05, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
I like CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security because it’s easy to use and gives me strong visibility across cloud environments. It detects threats in real time and helps keep cloud workloads secure from a single platform. It also makes it simpler to identify security risks and address them quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be pricey for smaller organizations, and some of the more advanced features take time to learn and configure properly. The sheer number of alerts can feel overwhelming at first, especially before everything is tuned to the right thresholds and settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security helps me identify security risks, detect threats, and protect cloud workloads all in one place. Having everything centralized saves time, improves visibility, reduces security risk, and helps keep cloud environments secure and compliant.

Unified Cloud Security with Intuitive Dashboards and Actionable Insights

    Reviewed on Aug 05, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security is its ability to provide comprehensive cloud security posture management, workload protection, and threat detection through a single, unified platform. The interface is intuitive, the dashboards provide clear visibility into cloud risks, and the platform delivers actionable insights that make prioritizing security issues much easier. I also appreciate its real-time monitoring, automated policy enforcement, and seamless integration with major cloud providers and DevSecOps workflows. Overall, Falcon Cloud Security strengthens cloud security, reduces operational complexity, and enables faster detection and remediation of security threats across cloud environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area where CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security could improve is offering more advanced customization for dashboards, reporting, and policy management to better support organizations with highly complex cloud environments. While the platform provides comprehensive visibility and strong threat detection, the volume of security findings can sometimes be overwhelming without additional filtering and prioritization options. I'd also like to see richer analytics, more flexible reporting, and expanded integrations with additional third-party DevOps and IT management tools. Overall, the experience has been very positive, but greater customization, enhanced reporting, and deeper workflow integrations would make the platform even more valuable for enterprise security teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security solves the challenge of securing cloud infrastructure by providing continuous visibility into cloud assets, workloads, configurations, identities, and potential security risks from a unified platform. Instead of relying on multiple disconnected security tools and manual monitoring, it automates threat detection, cloud security posture management, compliance monitoring, and risk prioritization with actionable remediation guidance. This helps identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations early, reduces operational overhead, improves compliance, and accelerates incident response. As a result, it has strengthened cloud security, streamlined security operations, increased visibility across cloud environments, and enabled faster, more confident decision-making.

Easy Installation, Seamless Performance, Strong Protection

    Reviewed on Aug 04, 2026
    Review provided by G2
What do you like best about the product?
It was easily installed on my work laptop and runs seamlessly, not slowing my laptop down. It helps to ensure my laptop is protected from hackers by using multiple virtual servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints regarding this product. It has worked seamlessly for my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It reduces the blind spots that may be missed by human error and preventing data breaches - when companies move to the cloud, they shift from a single physical server to thousands of invisible, interconnected pieces of code, making it incredibly easy to lose visibility and control. CrowdStrike prevents us from losing "control and visibility" so to speak.
