    An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Usage instructions

    When the AMI instance is running,

    1. Store the license file provided by the vendor at the following locations: engine.license file should be stored at /etc/fixedge/ fixeye-agent.license file should be stored at /etc/fixeye/

    2. Connect to the instance via SSH as the ec2-user: ssh -i <your-key.pem> ec2-user@<public_dns_name>

    3. Restart the services with the following commands: sudo systemctl restart fixedge sudo systemctl restart fixeye-agent Note: During the FIXEdge shutdown procedure, an error message stating "Connection Lost" may be logged in FIXICC H2. This is a known issue and will be addressed in a future release. The error does not indicate any real problem and can be safely ignored.

    4. Wait 2 minutes after the restart to ensure the services are up and running.

    5. Access the front-end FIXICC H2 application using the following link: https://<public_dns-name>:8443/app

    6. Enter the default credentials admin/admin on the Welcome page.

    7. Change the credentials after the first login. a) On the left side panel, navigate to Administration -> Users. b) On the right side panel, highlight the admin/admin row. c) Right-click and choose "Change Password" from the dropdown list. d) Enter the new credentials in the opened window.

    8. Log out.

    9. Log in with the new credentials.
