What do you like best about the product?
Having a wide variety of boundary condition options and mesh controls really helps me optimize designs quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be helpful to know if Simcenter's mesher is able to run with multiple CPU cores.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it to perform linear static stress analyses, and it has proven invaluable in allowing us to rapidly check designs to confirm that they are performing as needed.

Not much, added capability for Optics simulation will be a add on.

The price is high, and I’ve also run into bugs that affect the software’s overall quality.

That you can do the design, simulate and test in a single platform, without losing time in file conversions and switching platforms and has a unified pre and post processing.

Licensing is expensive for SMBs and the learning curve is steep.

I like Simcenter 3D most for its powerful simulation capabilities and user-friendly interface, which make complex analyses easier and more efficient.

I think the meshing part could be improved, as it can sometimes feel limited and less flexible for complex models.
