Overview
Conduktor Community Edition is the modern Kafka UI and API built for individual developers and small development teams. It gives you professional-grade Kafka tooling at no cost - self-hosted via Docker or deployed directly into your AWS environment using the included CloudFormation template.
Community connects to any Kafka provider: Amazon MSK, Confluent, Redpanda, Aiven, or self-managed Apache Kafka. Up and running in minutes.
Core Kafka Operations Create, inspect, and manage topics, schemas, connectors, and consumer groups across up to 3 clusters from a single interface. No CLI required.
Advanced Data Exploration Browse, filter, and tail messages in real time. Produce messages, replay DLQs, and auto-decode Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema. Filter with JavaScript, JQ, or SQL queries on topics.
Real-Time Monitoring Monitor cluster health, broker stats, and consumer lag in real time.
Insights Topic health scoring, risk detection for data loss and under-replication, cost optimization, and configuration recommendations - built in, no setup required.
API, CLI & MCP Full programmatic access via REST API and CLI. AI agent integration via MCP for natural language Kafka operations.
SSO & Access Control OIDC and LDAP authentication with granular RBAC - included free.
Community Edition supports up to 50 users and 3 clusters. When your team needs production alerting, governance workflows, or organizational controls, the Conduktor Console Scale license provides everything you need with no data migration required.
Highlights

Conduktor Marketplace CloudFormation
- Amazon ECS
Container image
Containers are lightweight, portable execution environments that wrap server application software in a filesystem that includes everything it needs to run. Container applications run on supported container runtimes and orchestration services, such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS). Both eliminate the need for you to install and operate your own container orchestration software by managing and scheduling containers on a scalable cluster of virtual machines.
