    Overview

    Aegis is designed to help customers throughout their SAP on AWS journey. Regardless of if you have started already or not. Apiphani has expertise in helping maximize a customers benefit in running SAP, utilizing AWS services such as: Amazon EC2; Amazon EBS; Amazon S3; Amazon VPC; Amazon CloudWatch; AWS IAM; AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery.

    There is a long list of important tasks SAP does not perform as part of a RISE engagement.** In general, SAP doesn’t handle interfaces or the integration of the RISE environment with external systems, SAP security role design and maintenance, or any sort of custom scripting. End clients are also responsible for security role design and maintenance, application interface configuration and management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Active Directory, and DNS configuration, and any log monitoring and management that may be required.

    The list of optional Cloud Application Services (CAS) for RISE with SAP is even longer and more varied by product. These are tasks you can do yourself, or that you can have either SAP or your partner manage for you. In addition to the functional aspects of the application, end clients are also responsible for techno-functional configuration of certain SAP applications, such as Process Orchestration, TREX, Open Text/VIM, and others.
