Overview
TortoiseSVN is an Apache Subversion (SVN) client, implemented as a Windows shell extension. It's intuitive and easy to use since it doesn't require the Subversion command-line client to run.
TortoiseSVN helps developers manage different versions of the source code for their programs and maintain current and historical versions of projects. The software is available in the Windows file explorer because it implemented as a Microsoft Windows shell extension
The solution commits as true atomic operations (interrupted commit operations in CVS would cause repository inconsistency or corruption). The system maintains versioning for directories, renames, and file metadata (but not for timestamps). Users can move and/or copy entire directory-trees very quickly while retaining full revision history.
This Image specially hardened by Tidal Media for AWS Marketplace allows you to deploy fully pre-configured and secure TortoiseSVN in minutes. You can use it with any development tools you like, and with any type of file.

- In Windows Explorer, besides showing context menu items for Subversion commands, TortoiseSVN provides an icon overlay that indicates the status of Subversion working copies.
