This is a repackaged open source software product wherein additional charges apply for technical support and maintenance provided by Tiov IT. This is a ready to use minimal AlmaLinux 9.0 image that is updated with latest security patches making sure you are always running the most secure version available.
AlmaLinux OS is an open-source, community-driven Linux operating system that fills the gap left by the discontinuation of the CentOS Linux stable release. AlmaLinux OS is a 1:1 binary compatible clone of RHEL® guided and built by the community.
AlmaLinux is a free and open source Linux distribution, created originally by CloudLinux to provide a community-supported, production-grade enterprise operating system that is binary-compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
The images is updated at the moment of upload and updates are performed on a regular basis Please note that this AMI comes with additional charges for support

Login using 'cloud-user' user and ssh public key authentication
Info regarding virtual machines The operating system does not save any sensitive information for the customers. The customer is responsible for saving any information, sensitive or not. The data saved on the volumes is not encrypted by default. All instance authentication must use key pair access, not password-based authentication. AMIs does not contain passwords, authentication keys, key pairs, security keys, or other credentials. PasswordAuthentication is set to NO in sshd_config. The application does not make use of any encryption techniques.
Troubleshooting Navigate to your Amazon EC2 console and verify that you're in the correct region. Choose Instance and select your launched instance. Select the server to display your metadata page and choose the Status checks tab at the bottom of the page to review if your status checks passed or failed.
