Vulnerability Management of OT devices: New security vulnerabilities are discovered every day, and hackers are developing ways to exploit them. SINEC Security Guard helps you keep an eye on the visibility of threats to your OT network and mitigate them accordingly. Industrial operators and automation experts without dedicated cybersecurity know-how have the key to perform the right measures for vulnerability management.
Threat and Attack Detection: The need to secure factories due to increased cyber threats and governmental regulations for industries is growing. Attacks often stay undetected for weeks and months. So continuous monitoring of network traffic is required by the SINEC Security Guard Sensor, which is connected to a network tap or mirror port of a network switch. The network traffic is analyzed regarding security-relevant signature patterns such as security threats or malformed packets. Security events are visualized within SINEC Security Guard, available as Software as a Service.

An asset is any OT device you onboard, such as a programmable logic controller or network device. Your subscription lets you connect as many assets as you buy through asset packages. The product supports both Siemens devices and devices from other vendors, so each matched device counts toward your purchased total.
You can import OT assets using a CSV file through a public interface, or record them via an optional separate on-site asset scanning service that connects to the cloud. The custom quote on the Marketplace is driven by your asset count. The optional scanning service is a separate offering, not part of this contract.
Your subscription entitles you to onboard assets up to the number you bought through asset packages. To connect more assets, you buy additional capacity. Since pricing scales with your asset count, growing your inventory means requesting a quote covering the higher total. The contract covers one year.
