Overview
Who this is for
SaaS, consumer app and marketplace companies in Canada, the United States and Europe whose production backend is built on AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon SQS and Amazon EventBridge, with a development team that has nobody dedicated to operating it. The buyer is the CTO or VP Engineering.
The problem
Serverless removes servers, not operations. During traffic spikes, functions hit concurrency limits and APIs throttle, cold starts slow the first requests, and failed asynchronous messages land in dead-letter queues nobody reads. DynamoDB capacity, service quotas and runtime deprecation dates are tracked by no one, and cost per request creeps up because memory, timeout and retry settings are never revisited after launch.
What we deliver
Onboarding. We inventory every function, API, queue, event rule and table, review concurrency, provisioned concurrency, service quotas and timeouts, and set the alarm and dead-letter queue baseline. Structured logging, AWS X-Ray tracing and CloudWatch dashboards cover each user-facing path, and access runs through IAM roles you control.
Monthly operations. Our engineers respond to incidents around the clock, redrive or resolve failed messages, raise concurrency and quotas ahead of known peaks, and tune memory, timeouts and retries for cost and latency. Runtime upgrades are planned and tested before AWS deprecation dates, and DynamoDB capacity, backups and point-in-time recovery are part of the service.
Traffic events. Before a launch, sale or campaign we load test the critical paths, raise quotas in advance and stay on watch through the event.
Reporting. A monthly report covers incidents, failed messages, latency, quota headroom, runtime status and cost per request, reviewed with your engineering lead.
This listing is limited to serverless application operations. For Dedicatted to own your whole AWS platform, see Cloud & Platform Managed Services (MSP); for hours-based support across any stack, see 24/7 Platform Support Service by Dedicatted.
AWS services integrated
AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Amazon EventBridge, AWS Step Functions, Amazon CloudWatch (alarms, Logs Insights, Application Signals), AWS X-Ray, Service Quotas, AWS Backup and AWS CloudTrail.
Outcomes
- Throttling, cold-start and dead-letter queue problems are caught by alarms and handled by an engineer at any hour.
- Concurrency and quota limits are raised before your peaks, not after customers hit them.
- Runtimes are upgraded and tested before deprecation instead of in a rush.
- Cost per request is reported monthly and tuned through memory, timeout and retry settings.
Evidence
Dedicatted holds the AWS Service Delivery validations for AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway and Amazon DynamoDB, and is in the AWS Managed Service Provider Program. For Collectr, a Toronto-based collectibles app used by millions, Dedicatted took over AWS operations, built observability from scratch with dashboards, alarms, anomaly detection and issue response workflows, tuned Lambda concurrency and service configurations so compute scales with demand spikes, and added Amazon DynamoDB to remove a scaling bottleneck, as published by AWS in a case study.
Where we deliver
Dedicatted is an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner and AWS Managed Service Provider headquartered in Toronto and Montreal, Canada. It is the first Canadian partner to hold both AWS AI Competencies (Generative AI and Agentic AI) and the first and only Canadian AWS Partner to hold the AWS Digital Sovereignty Services Competency. We deliver across Canada, the United States and Europe, in English and French, and support Canadian data residency in the AWS Canada (Central) and Canada West (Calgary) Regions.
AWS infrastructure charges
AWS bills you for Lambda invocations and duration, provisioned concurrency where used, API Gateway requests, DynamoDB capacity, storage and backups, SQS, SNS, EventBridge and Step Functions usage, X-Ray traces, CloudWatch logs, metrics and alarms, and any load-test traffic. We work through IAM roles you create and can remove at any time.
Highlights
- Your serverless application run for you: 24/7 incident response for AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway and Amazon DynamoDB, failed-message handling, concurrency and quota management ahead of peaks, and runtime upgrades tested before AWS deprecation dates.
- Monitoring and observability for every user-facing path: structured logs, AWS X-Ray traces, CloudWatch alarms and dashboards, plus a monthly report on latency, quota headroom, failed messages and cost per request, with memory, timeout and retry tuning.
- From an AWS Managed Service Provider with the Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDB Service Delivery validations, which runs the backend of Collectr, a collectibles app used by millions, as published by AWS in a case study.

Before you buy
- A scoping call confirms the functions, APIs, queues, tables and AWS accounts in scope, your known traffic peaks and the incident response hours you need, followed by a written scope and a private offer through AWS Marketplace.
During the service
- Production incidents reach our engineers through the paging route agreed at onboarding, with response targets written into the private offer.
- Other requests go by email or a shared channel, in English or French, with a named service lead and a monthly review.
Response time
- Requests that are not production incidents receive a response within two business days.
Ending the service
- Runbooks, dashboards, alarm configuration and the change history stay with your team, and our access is removed.
