TRACK A - PROOF OF CONCEPT (weeks, not months)
Phase 1 - Connect: Read-only IAM (AWS Identity and Access Management) role, AWS Cost and Usage Report (CUR) export to Amazon S3 (enabled if missing), AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Compute Optimizer, and AWS Trusted Advisor access, tagging and account-structure review, and a baseline of the last three months of spend by account, service, and team. Phase 2 - Analyze: The Amazon Bedrock-based agent queries the CUR through Amazon Athena, classifies spend, detects anomalies, correlates them with tags, accounts, and deployments, and ranks recommendations: rightsizing, Savings Plans and Reserved Instances coverage, storage classes and lifecycle, idle and orphaned resources, data transfer, and logging costs. Every finding gets a plain-language explanation, an owner, an expected monthly saving, effort, and risk. Triangu FinOps engineers review every recommendation before it reaches you. Phase 3 - Plan: A prioritized top-10 savings plan with estimated monthly impact, a 30-60-90-day execution sequence, and a proposal for continuous operation: weekly anomaly digests to Slack or Google Chat and Jira tickets with owners.

HOW IT IS BUILT
Amazon Bedrock Converse API (the foundation model is a configuration setting), AWS Lambda, Amazon Athena over the CUR, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, Amazon CloudWatch. Read-only by design: a scoped IAM role and no write actions in your account during the proof of concept.
PREREQUISITES
An AWS account or AWS Organizations management account with Cost Explorer enabled; a CUR export (Triangu enables it if missing; the first data arrives within 24 hours); a read-only IAM role; one technical contact available about 2 hours per week.
TRACK B - PRODUCTION IMPLEMENTATION (after track A, or directly)
Triangu offers continuous agent-assisted cost operations under the AWS Cloud Operations Competency practice: scheduled anomaly detection, monthly savings reviews, execution of approved recommendations, and a Well-Architected Framework Review with focus on the Cost Optimization pillar.
